Al fresco meetings

The other week, it was extremely hot outside and even hotter in my flat (it faces south, and has neither A/C or fan).

To save myself from general madness & delirium and instead get some embroidery unterwegs, I gathered threads, needlework and blanket in a bag and went out to find a pleasantly shady spot under some trees. Such a place was best found in the nearby nature reserve where I stayed until sundown. This diligent little Ladybird kept turning up to check the progress, always keeping a safe distance from the needle.
